About
Carlee Tressel is an author and editor. Her fiction and essays have appeared in a variety of publications including Car Bombs to Cookie Tables: The Youngstown Anthology, Locker Room Talk: Women in Private Spaces, and Belt Magazine. She serves as the fiction editor for the Under Review, an online literary journal that publishes fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction with a sport slant.
In her work as a communications professional, Carlee has helped numerous startups, nonprofits, small and large businesses, entrepreneurs, and fellow writers tell their stories. She is the author of Rolling On: Two Hundred Years of Blair Iron and Steel, a corporate history of one of the longest-running steelmakers in the U.S.
Carlee is also a co-founder of Appleseed Childhood Education, a nonprofit focused on increasing and sustaining the supply of child care options in her community.
She lives in rural northwest Indiana.
